I am planning to move to Indiana in 2013. I will graduate this May 2012 as a Civil Engineer and I was wandering if your firm hires engineers to do hydrological analysis or if you only hire structural engineers. I am trying to get a feel of how many firms there are around Bloomington that I could possibly work for. I am not sure yet where in Indiana I will move. I do have an interest in bridges, I am the current captain for the SIUE steel bridge team although my focus is mostly in environmental.

Several years ago you showed me an abandoned steel bridge east of Bloomington spanning Stephans Creek. Is it a crazy idea to consider purchasing it, then utilizing it to build an eccentric house with an incredible view over the span? Would there be insurmountable problems related to access, sewage disposal or anything else. Can you imagine how cool it would be?
